Consultation

At the end of your consultation, your surgery can be scheduled.
Anesthesia
Our procedures are performed at CHRISTUS® Santa Rosa Hospital and Cumberland Surgical Hospital, a state-of-the-art facility. To begin your breast augmentation surgery, we will first administer general anesthesia to ensure your comfort.
Incisions
Your plastic surgeon will begin the procedure by making incisions in the breast tissue. When possible, Dr. Kopchinski uses an inframammary incision which is made in the crease of the breast. This can help minimize visible scarring.
Implant Placement
Dr. Kopchinski will insert your preferred form of breast implants through the incisions. Depending on your goals and body type, the implants can go under or over the pectoral muscle.
Closing the Incisions
After placing the breast implants, the plastic surgeon will suture the incisions shut. The surgery is now complete.
Aftercare
To ensure your breasts heal properly, they will be wrapped in special bandages. We may provide you with a special support bra that you will need to wear for at least a few days. You can now begin the process of recovery and enjoy your larger, fuller, more symmetrical breasts.

All breast implants consist of a safe silicone shell, but there are two types of materials used to fill the implants. Dr. Kopchinski offers both forms of implants to his patients: breast implants filled with saline, and breast implants filled with silicone.
