To provide realistic expectations about the procedure and what it involves, we have provided a general treatment timeline. Initial Consultation

He can show you where the incisions will be, where the belly button will be located, and what to expect on the day of the procedure.
Anesthesia
To begin the abdominoplasty procedure, anesthesia is administered to ensure your comfort at all times. We offer both general anesthesia and IV sedation, and patients typically have no memory of the surgery. We use nerve blocks to help reduce postoperative pain, as well.
Incisions
A horizontal incision is created across the lower abdomen to access the tissue underneath. If muscles along the abdominal wall need to be tightened, a second incision may be needed.
Removal and Tightening
