Meet Our Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Bernard Kopchinski
Dr. Bernard Kopchinski has been a practicing surgeon since 1996. He first served in the United States Army for almost 30 years, where he worked as a Special Forces Medic, general surgeon, and plastic surgeon. He founded Prestige Cosmetic Surgery in 2012 and has been helping the patients of San Antonio achieve their cosmetic goals ever since.
Dr. Kopchinski is a member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, the San Antonio International Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a Health Grades Recognized Doctor, a recipient of the Patient's Choice Award, and listed in the Guide to America's Top Surgeons.

Your first appointment with Dr. Kopchinski will be a one-hour-long consultation. During this time, he will encourage you to ask any questions you have and take your time considering the surgery. We will never pressure you — we only want to give you what you need to feel confident about your decision.
During your meeting, Dr. Kopchinski will discuss factors such as:

The Night After Your Surgery Once a Patient, Always a Patient
On the night after your surgery, Dr. Kopchinski will call to check on you and answer any questions you have — his priority is to address your concerns so you can recover without worries. Dr. Kopchinski will perform standard follow-up evaluations, but if you encounter a problem between appointments, you can contact him through his personal cell phone number. Once you are a patient of Prestige Cosmetic Surgery, you are always considered a patient. You can always schedule an appointment with us, even if it's years after your surgery.
